The conference in a nutshell The keynote session used the conference host city as a backdrop. Peter Molengraaf, CEO of Liander explored the Amsterdam Smart City Project and Per Hallberg, Chairman WG Smart Grids/Networks of the Future of EURELECTRIC reflected how current infrastructure will continue to respond to the emerging demands of grid stability and how to successfully integrate renewables.
The parallel conference sessions offered the attendees an in-depth look at the practical implications of the 3rd package, investment planning issues and developments on smart grids. Our exciting and expert industry speakers provided case study presentations highlighting their experiences.

A walk over the exhibition floor Transmission & Distribution Europe and Smart Grids Europe combined to create a companion exhibit floor. Strategically located, the exhibit floor offered over 40 leading international companies showcased their organizations through exhibition spaces and hospitality spaces across the venue.
The structured agenda provided maximized networking opportunities to meet, greet and forge relationships over coffee, lunch and through dedicated networking receptions.
